Ammonium paratungstate is a chemical substance with the molecular formula (NH4)10W12O41·5H2O. Monoclinic fine transparent crystal or white crystal. Heating in the air, when the temperature is lower than 100°C, part of the ammonia molecules will be removed, and all the ammonia molecules and crystal water will be removed when the heat is strong, and it will turn into a yellow powder of tungsten trioxide. Decompose in acid and alkali solution. It is used to make metal tungsten powder made of tungsten trioxide or blue tungsten oxide. It is also used to manufacture ammonium metatungstate and other tungsten compounds, which are used as additives in the petrochemical industry.
